Air travel is one of the safest forms of transportation. Commercial and business jet aircraft complete hundreds of flights every day helping thousands of passengers safely reach their destination. However, when an accident happens, reducing the time it takes to get emergency responders to a crash site is critical. An Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) can help alert authorities to the precise location of a downed aircraft within seconds of activation.
Dukane Seacom applied our expertise in designing crash worthy aircraft electronic devices and developed the DK406 line of Emergency Locator Transmitters. In 2018 we added to our capabilities and product knowledge with the addition of the Instrumar ELT product line.
The latest addition to our extensive ELT product line is the DK-406-DT. Dukane Seacom’s new DK-406-DT is a state-of-the-art, crash-survivable distress tracking Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT, ELT DT, or ELT-DT) solution that was designed and tested to meet current and future requirements for ELTs worldwide including the GADSS requirements for in-flight distress tracking and automatic inflight triggering.
With full design, manufacturing, and test capabilities from our Sarasota facility, Dukane Seacom is a leader in manufacturing ELTs for the air transport, business jet, and military fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
